In evolution 2.12.0-0ubuntu3 on gutsy, I can't configure any plugin I
tried to configure. At least I know I should be able to configure the
spamassassin plugin to include network tests (I was able to do that on
feisty). When I press 'configure',
I'm sure that Dylan is right. I see that after a reboot the "no items
found" appears. and after opening another document (and closing it so
it goes to the recents) the bug disappears

I agree that the cleanest way is to watch the GConf key and start a
process based on its changes: it's how other GConf settings work, for
example all gnome-settings-daemon settings.
Perhaps it would be clearer to simply name the watcher "vino-watcher" or
"vino-launcher" so that users could easily

My problem was different. About 90% of the time, the filters run on new
mail as expected. Sometimes, without any reconfiguration, I start
Evolution and they just don't run. A killev and restarting Evolution
seems to fix it.

although it should select bogofilter which is installed.

What "argument that users will only browse with nautilus and double-
click music"? Where did you read that? The issue is only a lack of
manpower to fix the thousand of desktop bugs open immediatly, it's
likely to be fixed next cycle though

why to
I confirmed that "Apply filters to new messages in inbox on this server"
was checked and I'm still seeing this problem with Evolution 2.12.0 on
Gutsy up-to-date. Everything was copacetic with Feisty, only started
seeing this bug after upgrading to Gutsy. Manually applying filters with
ctrl-y works

Hi, I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy on a i386 and I've just upgraded my
installation. Unfortunately, I still have this problem with xchat-gnome
1:0.18-0ubuntu2. When I try to run the program I get:
