there are limits on how much a sub-window in evolution can be shrunk - why?
the side panel should be reducable to less and the mail window equally.
i think part of the problem are that there are limits in how small the
windows can be made and these limits are too large. the resizing of

I can add that, just logging out and then back in, everything works
fine. Notice that at bootup system is really slowed down because gdm
autologin happens while other daemons are starting in background, so
there is high disk load at my first login.

i have the same problem running gutsy 7.10 tribe 5 updated today.
especially anoying, it requires a password when sending mail to access the

I had both Python 2.3 and 2.5 installed on my system, but dpkg used in some way
the 2.3 version.
After I removed 2.3 all went well, and dpkg used version 2.5 and fixed the
broken installation.

Perhaps we should also update the description. It looks to me like this
is reproducible by plugging in USB sticks with different volume names.

Same problem in Feisty.
In the file manager, go to Edit-->Preferences-->Behaviou and set "Include a
Delete command that bypasses Trash"
Then you can, at least, delete the file.
Still broken, but easier to deal with.
