It is difficult to reproduce, but I believe I have tracked down the core issue.
The problem stopped happening very shortly after I posted the bug.
One of the network techs at the office said someone made a bad cable and they
were getting a lot of packet loss between one machine and the switch.

Sorry I have been too busy to update this earlier. Turns out my
notebook had a faulty hard disk causing it to create massive wait. This
was probably responsible for this issue among others., because I can't
reproduce it since the HDD was replaced. Just wanted to let you know.

The css based menu on the site www.spiegel.de opens when the cursor
hovers over it, but when you try to pick in item, it disappears.
I am referring to the fourth line (not counting ads); the line in
relatively small red font that reads:

Unlike most other keyboard shortcuts, the keyboard shortcut to bring up
the deskbar-applet is set in its preferences instead of in the Keyboard
Shortcuts control panel. There is a "search" keyboard shortcut in the
Keyboard Shortcuts control panel, but it brings up file search

I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy with Evolution 2.11.92-0ubuntu1
I checked the setting Automatic Contacts settings, but that option is
not activated. Although, all recipients to whom I reply to, are added to
my addressbook.
Anyone can confirm this?
