I solved that complaint with gconftool-2 --recursive-unset
/apps/compiz/plugins/decoration but decorations aren't working yet.
Compiz starts without them, and launching gtk-window-decorator --replace
doesn't do anything.

My brother has installed Ubuntu and loves it, but his MP3 player doesn't
work. It mounts ok, but Rhythmbox does not detect it, or list it as
supported, and When i look at the files on the drive, it simply has the
Lyra_settings folder, no music folders visible at all.

This is not upstream bug. I have tried several other distributions and
gtkfilechooser works just fine. This must be bug in Ubuntu.
Here's easy way to reprosude it in Edgy, Feisty and Gutsy:
1. Launch example gedit.
2. Write somenthing if you want to. Click "File" and "Save" or "Save
as".

I can confirm that something is wrong...
so far today, I tried to write a cd ISO to a blank cd in the burner, and
it display the "Please put a disc, with at least xxx.x KiB free, into
the drive. The following disc types are supported:" message. Also if I
try to copy a cd from one drive to another

The workaround mentioned above results in a lot of dependencies errors.
The funny thing is I just installed the tribe3 version of ubuntu did an
upgrade and did not get any issues with OO 2.2.1-5u3. So I am not sure
if this is not a kubuntu only thing or maybe just an upgrade from tribe
2 to tribe

'mode', all gtk entry widgets (except firefox) don't display cursor. I
can still type there, but i don't see the cursor.
