Invest Applet fails to open menu option
Making djalfie's file an actual patch. The fix worked for my FC17, not
sure if the path to invest/applet.py is the same, for me it is:
/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/invest/applet.py
Just be aware of that when patching.

I confirm I have exactly same symptoms.
I confirm also that patch is working for me.
in addition, the file is distributed inside gnome-applet-data.
The applet.pyc is not part of the package. I am not sure, but it may be
generated during package install ??
