crashes after clicking on 'copy CD/DVD' again

Its seriously getting on my nerves. I've been copying a whole load of
old disks to my hard drive so i could get rid of them - they're taking
too much room.
It works for the first time, but it shuts down after clicking Copy
CD/DVD for the next CD, no messages shown as the bug description says.
Its
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Ok, i solved the problem with the starting VLC player - but the Brasero
crashes as discribed.

seems for me, that the VLC player is the problem.
it opens the DVD and then Brasero can not access to the drive.
i tried to click on 'copy CD/DVD' BEFORE the DVD was complete scanned
and it worked to copy it.

the first works without problems.
after finishing the copy process i cut and paste the file into another dir on
HDD, throw the DVD out with the option 'Tools', insert another DVD and click on
"copy CD/DVD".
