The Adobe Acrobat Reader can read the attachments. Evince actually already has an 'Attachments' item greyed out in it's Sidebar. It's even a HIG violation to have menuitems greyed-out while not implemented. I'm using Ubuntu Edgy with Evince 0.8.0 (from Feisty) backported to it. I did the backport
