gThumb 2.10.0 has been released. It is basically the same as 2.9.3, but
with the importer fix, and a bunch of minor incremental fixes.
It's pretty stable.

Daniel,
pulling in that patch would be a good idea, otherwise imports will
freeze if the destination path has escapable characters (like spaces or
accented characters). It's a high visibility bug that is hard for users
to diagnose, because no error message is generated.

* debian/control: Bump libgphoto2-2-dev build dependency to ensure that we
build against one which depends on libusb-dev. This will finally fix
photo import for good. Thanks to Jan Mynarik
2.9.3 has a really annoying importer bug
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414665). I suggest you wait
for 2.9.4.
