Thank you for your quick response.
I switched off (and back on) gnome-compatibility in Compiz and now the
terminal is back and works as it should.
The system seems to be working fine now. I've had some issues with
compiz since I swithched to Lynx.
The combination seems to be unstab
could you take an screenshot of what you're seeing? do you get the same
with desktop effects off?
