It is probably a mixture of both, actually; it is an inconsistency in
the user interface. When you have multiple e-mail accounts (for
example, I have an IMAP e-mail account and a POP3 email account) it
automatically starts composing new mail messages using the relevant
account, depending on what i
do you think it has a higer priority that the crasher bugs opened? looks
like a feature request rather than a bug

It doesn’t look like this was fixed in Feisty, nor the other problem
that I could have swore that I reported with regard to Evolution’s lack
of compliance with GNOME’s “editable menu shortcuts” option, but I can’t

Thank you for your bug. You don't need to open upstream bug on launchpad
too though, better to just do it when there is a patch that the Ubuntu
team should backport or if you think that the bug is a stopper for next
Ubuntu version and should really be fixed by the distro team if upstream
doesn't
