I get the same problem, no activity. No matter what song I play, I never
get any lyrics or even a message saying no lyrics found. Just an empty
box with a non-blinking text cursor.

It works fine here too... (all providers checked)
Sorry, but that was not my point.
The reason I filed this bug was that there is no indication that the plugin is
doing something, until the lyrics appear.
In my opinion there should at least be a waiting-cursor, better a
throbber or a "please wai
the plugins works fine here, which provider are you using? sometimes it
doesn't find some lyrics here as well but hey there's plenty of music of
there so it could happen, please check the lyrics provider or try with
other artist.
