I've the same problem. The page was nba.com, just playing any video from
there. I also had the same problem trying to watch the 300 trailer at
yahoo movies (http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/300_hd.html) when clicking
on the HD trailer.

Thank you for your bug. Could you point an example of page where the
video is not played correctly? You can remove ubuntu-desktop if you
don't agree with the package installed by it and that's being worked
(there is a specification registred about using Recommends to not have
to remove ubuntu-deskt
