It looks reasonable to only apply the patch to feisty as an official
fix. Feisty is coming out soon enough.

I agree with this as well. Using Bitstream is probably a left-over from
designing the theme, not intentional. It would be much better to use
Sans (which in this case defaults to DejaVu) in the XML.
