i suppose this bug-report was a result of my stupidity...the internet
was down when this happened...only discovered recently when i was
actually without internet...

Thanks for your bug report. I can't confirm the bug. I get the message, if I
try to register that podcast, but not afterwards. Can you get a log with
rhythmbox -d 2&> rhythmbox.log
and attach it here?
