run "xev" from a command line, then do alt-printscreen and note what is
written by xev

Tagging "keyboard", would be nice to have somebody from bugsquad with
knowledge on how keyboard events are supposed to work looking at those
bugs, keyboard bugs tend to have nobody looking at them for the moment

I'm on a dell 600m laptop with similar symptoms (right alt key doesn't
work) the xev from the left alt key is:
KeyPress event, serial 29, synthetic NO, window 0x321,
root 0x4d, subw 0x0, time 2679068803, (296,170), root:(306,267),
state 0x0, keycode 64 (keysym 0xffe9, Alt_L), same_scr
Thanks for your bug. Could you get the key events from xev when pressing
the right alt and printscreen?
