I've fixed this bug by turn off the "Maximum Windows Management" in
start-up apps list (by Ubuntu Tweak).

I've just done a fresh software update about 5 mins ago, rebooted, and
the problem has gone away for me.

It's not just nautilus. I'm getting the same behaviour in Evolution,
Firefox and Terminal on a laptop I've just upgraded from 10.04 LTS to
10.10 RC.
