I also have the same problem, and for me it was was working on Lucid 64
bit Ubuntu Desktop edition. It stopped working with the 64 bit Maverick
beta.
Using a Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX laptop, no virtualized, just dual-booting
with Windows 7.
I did not do a clean install of Maverick, just a dist-
I have the Pavilion dv4 and i face the same issue. I had it working
under Lucid, but now it just says "estimating.."
I shall add more details later.
