This affects me after upgrade to 10.04 At startup I get "Press S to skip mounting or M for manual recovery Then I press 's' when I get to the login screen it has no options (e.g. to change user or select xfce) -- Configuration defaults not installed correctly. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/58
