I have the same problem with my server. I know it's my server so I can
create a new SSL-certificat, but it's a bug to not have the choice to
accept or not the certificat, expired or not.

Do you have some step to create the situation? Why not updating the
certificate or using a connection without one? What is the interest to
use an expired certificate?
