I am on 11.04 64 bit, with Empathy 2.34.0-0ubuntu3 and telepathy-
butterfly 0.5.15-1.
I can't start a group chat on MSN. I remember previously that there is
an option to Initiate Conversation, but now its gone, the option to
"Invite to Chat Room" is disabled.

I got same problem, it seemes to give support for groups but the issue is that
i recieve the messages but i can not see who is sending it.
Im using telepathy-butterfly 0.5.14-1 and happens even in groups hosted outside
the msn engine (like groupsim.com)

In MSN at least, I can't invite people to conversations and can't get
group chat invitations. I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit with Empathy

Receiving multi-person MSN chats works fairly well in telepathy-
butterfly, though. It shouldn't be too much of a stretch to support
initiating multi-person conversations also.

I tried this under empathy 2.29.6 and there was an invite button
clicking it popped up a window i inserted the email of the user I wanted
to invite in a gruop chat and nothing happened. then I did the same on
pidgin and worked.
