here's my fedora installation info
Evolution 2.24.5
more /etc/fedora-release
Fedora release 10 (Cambridge)
and the attached list of rpm ... it does the exact same thing. I can
define/declare a new monthly view .. but when I hit EDIT nothing
happens.
The reason I am
excuse me being stunned ... I reported this problem .. because I
realized this is why I did not use evolution on my prev ubuntu
installation prev one is Evolution 2.22.2

if you then select the "appel" monthly view and try and edit - nothing
happens
does not work everytime - iow - it is reproducible
