Further to previous email, I can confirm that although not visible on
the desktop (I have two - I checked both of them), Rhythmbox was still
showing as running by the system monitor.
Also, having ended the process from the system monitor, I tried
starting Rhythmbox again. To cut a long story shor
Erm.. Ive just closed Rhythmbox prior to closing down my PC, and the
music is still playing! Just thought I;d mention it. Alas, still
nothing in the logfile :-(

OK, I've just tried all this again.
First of all, I have reason to believe that this might be partly or
even entirely a display issue (ie: to do with how the desktop UI is
displayed)
Secondly, and rather bizarrely, Rhythmbox seems to be refusing to
create a logfile at all today, so no new logfile,

I'll also have another go in a minute, now I understand better what's
going on (and maybe that'll show if it reproduces exactly, etc)

Hi Esme,
You can choose where to save the logfile. Let me explain the command
that Pedro is having you run: "rhythmbox -D lastfm --debug &> rhythmbox-
debug.txt"
Breaking it down "rhythmbox" is the name of the program you are going to
start from the terminal, "-D" is an argument that allows debu

You are doing fine. the report I mentioned is the bug report itself,
which you filed in launchpad. Please do attach the logfile as you
planned. I will then be able to send the bug report to the developers
and, we hope, get them working to resolve this issue. Thanks again for
your cooperation.

Hello again Charlie!
Can you tell me where log file is stored, please? I've had no luck
trying to find the thing. I looked in my home directory, and checked
for the 'hidden' folders, then I tried looking in /usr, but again no
luck.
