I too can't reproduce it anymore and ck-list-sessions now shows 'active
= TRUE'.

I'm not able to reproduce the issue anymore.
I noticed that package consolekit was updated (bug #507755) after I reported
bug #508379, so maybe it is fixed by that bug.

I'm only seeing this, when X starts in low graphics (fail-safe) mode.
ck-list-sessions:

active = FALSE

FWIW, I'm not able to recreate this. Could somebody with this issue
please post the output of "ck-list-sessions" from the same session where
you experience this problem

I seems to be bug in power management, because neither power button on my
notebook works.
Moreover buttons Hibernation or Suspend in dialog "Shut Down the Computer" are
active but these actions don't work.
