Another way to trigger this crash:
1. Select any username
2. Hit cancel
3. Select any username
-> gdm-simple-server segfaults and another xserver is started on the next
available vt (vt8 in my case) along with gdm-simple-slave, because the old
xserver is still running on vt7 (showing the login wa
