This bug is starting to look old - is anyone still seeing this issue on

There's no particular change in memory or CPU load in system monitor.

Still having trouble with search? If so, can you try running Yelp from a
command line and pasting any output here. Is the system busy during the time
when the search is happening? Try running the system-monitor and seeing what
the CPU load is (and whether it is Yelp eating the
Beagle isn't installed by default as far as I know.
Yelp search should still do something useful without beagle.
Search has now been running for 6 minutes (on an Athlon 3000+, 1Gb RAM)
with still no results.

May be you don't have working beagle and use standart slow xml search. if that
right, you need to install beagle:
sudo apt-get install beagle
and then wait, while it indexing your hard drive.
After that, you can use "fast search" in yelp.

Not in front of it right now -- it's whatever comes with 6.06.
I upgraded from Breezy with the software updater, and that gave me a few error
messages, so it could be tied up with that.
