This works now. I guess YouTube fixed VEVO content to work with get
video requests.

Do you not get Vevo content when you search on YouTube.com? Well, like I
said, this is Google so they're probably giving very personalized
results. Make sure you're using the English version of the site, I tried
the Spanish version and I didn't get any Vevo content. It may also be
that YouTube only
not an issue here with those videos, cannot confirm.

Sorry about the multipost, Launchpad crashed on me. If you check the
first video that you got from your "Beyonce" search results on
YouTube.com, you'll see it is Vevo content, and that's why it failed.
The URL of the one in the attached screenshot is

As you can see, since the totem plugin is probably just scraping the
search results from YouTube, the same term generates the same video
results. Notice the first video gives a 403 error when you try to play
it.

Well this is Google, so they're probably giving highly personalized
search results. I just tried the search "beyonce" and that seemed to
work. Give that a try. If that doesn't work, do a bunch of searches on
the YouTube website for music-related content until you get a result
that links to a Vevo v
that works fine here i searched for vevo and i'm able to reproduce the
videos with the youtube plugin, do you any url i can test ? i cannot
access to the one you provided as an error, thanks.

Would it be possible to implement the youtube plugin so that it does an
HTTP HEAD request on the search results (at least the first couple) to
weed out all the bad content?
