Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus
Select Places/Computer from the menu and Nautilus displays the devices
connected to the computer. If you right click on a device then a context
menu is displayed. It is strange that there are copy and cut items in
the context menu. What does it mean to copy my CDROM drive? I thought
perhaps it would copy all files on the CDROM but this does not seem to
be the case. Cut just displays an error message if selected (Operation
not permitted). Likewise there is "Move to wastebasket" and "Delete"
menu items which also display error messages when selected.

These menu items don't make sense and should not be in the context menu
I think (the context menu should be for operations that are performed
often and make sense in the context of what is selected).

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
