This was fixed some time ago. We are waiting for a new language pack
release in dapper.
suspend (to RAM) -> "Standby"
hibernate (suspend to disk) -> "Ruhezustand"
If you want to check the current translation status you could use the
daily updated language packs:
deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~pit
I changed these translations according to
suspend to RAM: Standby
suspend to disk: Ruhezustand.
Unfortunately, not all of my changes have made it through Rosetta's import
queue yet.
