I think they are similar because they have a similar meaning.
I have suggested using a red colour for this icons.
I also suggest using the same icon, rotated and green to apply, using the
green v and the red x for yes and no actions.

should we mark this one as a duplicate then? still i do believe the
"cancel" and "revert" icons are too similar IMO...

ok josue, i'll be filling the bug report for gparted asap, suggesting
the gtk-yes and gtk-no icons should be used instead, but i still do
believe that the "cancel" icon is way too similar to the "revert" one
