the pdf you attached does not contain the tree structures, so it's not evince's
problem
search for the problem at the program that did the tex -> pdf conversion
closing as invalid

I've been able to re-generate the pdf, so the immediate problem is
resolved. However, there will be many cases where the original tex is
lost and re-generation will be impossible, so I still believe this bug
should still be resolved.
