That makes sense to me. Thanks for your help.

Upstream doesn't support IMAP4v1 and advice to use IMAP. The IMAP4v1
option has been dropped of the default upstream build and from the
upstream package, marking the bug as Rejected, IMAP should be used
instead

Could you make evolution displays the status bar and note if there is
any action written to it when that is happening?

Daniel has been cleaning up a good stack of the "Needs Info" bugs, that
bug was probably still marked as "Needs Info" and the current comments
where from Daniel and he made a mistake, reopening. Do you have the
issue if you use IMAP instead of IMAP4v1?

I sent you every bit of information you requested. Last I heard, you
were looking at something in the server end. I've been patiently
awaiting more requests for information.

Your bug lacks information we would need to investigate further. We
are now going to close the bug - please reopen if you have more
information at hand.

I'll have a look at IMAP4rev1 upstream bugs - the support for IMAP is
definitely better.

Thanks for your bug report. Do you use IMAP? Did you do anything special -
something how I might reproduce the behaviour? A log produced by
CAMEL_DEBUG=all eovlution > evo.log
might help to see what is going on there.

I should also note that I "Deleted" a couple of emails, then exited without
emptying trash and pulled it up in Mutt.
Completely different emails were marked deleted. Ouch.
