gdm decides to use an 800 x 600 resolution for some systems (including
mine), so we should make sure that the layout works for those small
resolution as well.

This bug exist for the Asturian variant (ast_ES code).
The width of phrase "Spain (Asturian variant with bottom-dot H and bottom-dot
L)" in the GDM for choose the variant keyboard is very large, exceeding the
width of screen.
Could be shortened to "Spain (Asturian)"?
I just tried in Ubuntu 9.10
I think this bug's importance should be raised as it affects any and all
netbooks which typically have 1024x600 or similar resolutions in their
displays.
