in evolution 2.6.1-0ubuntu7 it is the same. the filter rule
"subject start with" don't work. if i change the rule to
"contain"-condition it works fine.

It appears as if 'Subject starts with "[Bug"' doesn't work. However,
'Subject contains "[Bug"' works. It might be a problem with the "stars
with" filter.

I downgraded evolution to 2.6.0-0ubuntu3, and they still won't work. I will
upgrade to the latest version again.

I have 5 filters, and none of them have worked since yesterday. All the
filters do is put e-mails into the appropriate folder. For instance, I have a
filter that looks for subjects beginning in "[Bug" for bug reports. These
e-mails just go into the main inbox, and I have to move them manually
they work for me with evo 2.6.1-0ubuntu1. can you provide more details?
