This particular issues seems indeed fixed, although printing the "faulty
PDF" from comment 3 as described in the "steps to reproduce" in the
original report produces a printout with plenty of layout errors (even
more than before). But that should probably go in another bug report.

Additionally:
In the faulty PDF, if I select 2-4 pages, 4 pages per side, I notice
some weird text duplication on page 3 under the heading "SubVIs".
Visible in Print Preview of evince. This glitch disappears if I select
"all pages", 4 pages per side. Screenshot of the glitch attached.

It seems evince- and PDF-specific.
I tried the same PDF file in okular, there it was printed as it should.
Then I tried another PDF in evince and that one worked normally. I don't
know what's the difference between the PDFs are.
