the issue with a such patch is not the delta, it's the coherence. You expect
the same application acting the same way on different boxes and not changing
because the distribution change. That's why we try to not divert from upstream
by changing the behaviour to something they refused to do. The
included upstream is a patch for 2.6.0. can we just it here? i know deltas
greatly increase work load, but i believe it would improve the out-of-box
experience of ubuntu for the target audience. everyone expects a 'select
thread' button to, well, select the thread.

rejected it as NOTABUG, doing the same. Feel free to argue upstream if you

if it matters, this is an IMAP account. tried with Dovecot and Courier servers
with same result.
