If you do have it, please attach a crash report following those instructions:
$ gdb --args ekiga -d 4 2>&1 | tee gdb-ekiga.txt
(gdb) run
Now Ekiga should run normally. Perform the action you did to make it
crash, then go back to the terminal windo
You have a symmetric NAT:
"STUN server "stun.ekiga.net" replies Symmetric NAT" (here is an explanation:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symmetric_NAT#Types_of_NAT )
This type of NAT is not suitable for automatic configuration using
Ekiga.
You need to configure your router manually; please see this

You misunderstood the issue here. Ekiga 3.x does network configuration just
like befaore, the difference is it now does the selection automatically. Still
you can disable this autoconfiguration as explained here:

this one IS important.
The network configuration wizard does not even work (never appears)
Ekiga is useless on ubuntu 9.04 !
