@Sebastian: the issue with gnome-dvb-setup probably deserves a own
report, but here is my correct channels.conf in case your interessted in
the differences.
@all: you can work around gnome-dvb-setup by coping & renaming a working
channels.conf to ~/.config/gnome-dvb-daemon/channels_DVB-T.conf

so this bug regarding playbin2 is not affecting gst-rtsp-server and
gnome-dvb-daemon and as lucid's T
gnome-dvb-setup still might have done something wrong, therefore the

I don't think that the channels.conf is wrong as i did it with gnome-
dvb-setup. The file is from .config/gnome-dvb-daemon
I also tested the T2 device with Me-TV each time right before running
gnome-dvb-daemon.

Seems like the channel can't be tuned. Have you checked that the
channels.conf has the correct format (it should if created by gnome-dvb-
setup) and the channel has the correct tuning data in channels.conf. You
can create a channels.conf with dvb-apps scan program which should yield
the correct tun
I did "GST_DEBUG=*:3 gnome-dvb-daemon --gst-debug-no-color --debug
>debug.txt 2>&1" for the I/O redirection.
BTW you should be able to reproduce this with an up-to-date lucid
installation and it's default packages. Could be a way faster than
waiting for my slow input ;)

okay now i tried to use gst-rtsp-server from git, but is demanding
gstreamer 0.10.28.1 which is newer then what's in lucid. so i would
probably need whole gstreamer from git to test that and i don't know
much about gstreamer, meaning there are possibly much things i can do
wrong.
i also tried gnom
I can't remember comming across an issue like this, though I must admit
that I use gstreamer from git most of the time. I don't think it's
related to DVB-T, because gst-rtsp-server doesn't care what the source
is. I successfully tested a Terratec T2 and Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T USB
stick.

Looks like gst-rtsp-server is causing this issue. You may want to check
if a recent git version works better.

@Sebastian: here is the debug output of totem and gnome-dvb-daemon on
lucid. i am not able to watch any channel on USB DVB-T.
the error message in the totem log does indicate playbin2:

No, gnome-dvb-daemon does not use playbin2 with the dvb:// uri you
specified above.
