yep but we're losing some functionality, for example you no longer can
eject the cd tray through nautilus, and being the lazy git i am that's
one major issue for me =) just joking, regards, andre

Yes, but this was actually a desired effect. I don't say that it is
ideal for all users (since they might have become accustomed to the
empty CD icon), but it's not a unintended bug.

"computer" if no cd is mounted...

Well this is fixed now indirectly as you won't see the volume/device anymore
after unmounting it and have to remove/insert again to let it show up...
"Computer" should list unmounted devices/volumes too again soon so we'll see if
this bug still exists
