I can connect to the remote machine (using "Connect" button or
"Bookmarks" -> "Name-of-the-machine"), but I cannot do it by using the
sidebar.
1)
ping 192.168.1.99

@miky91: from a terminal:

vinagre --gtk-vnc-debug
and then double click in a nearby host.
Please, paste here any output in the terminal window.
There's no popup menu when right-click on nearby hosts. It exists only
in saved bookmarked host.

Bug still here with vinagre 2.25.92-0ubuntu1 . The remote host I'm
trying to connect to is running Ubuntu 8.04.2.
I don't know why launchpad says that two files have been modified since
I didn't use any unofficial package for vinagre (but it seems that
launchpad says that for every bug I report..)
Hi, I don't have this issue here. Have you installed a modified version
of vinagre? Could you try with 2.25.92 as it's the latest release at
Jaunty?
