Ugh. relocation errors are usually toolchain bugs. I'm going to
upgrade my amd64 to dapper in a week, I don't have time to do it before
then. =(

Thank your for your bug. Could you run /usr/lib/gnome-panel/clock-applet
from a command line and then add it to the panel and note if there is
any useful information about it?
