Hi, I think I have found a workaround. Please follow these steps:
1. Click the icon you want to change
2. the browse will pop up
3. move to the directory you stored the image (work even with jpg!) you like
4. in the location bar put '*' and press enter
5. a new browse window will appear but it wil

You are correct, I misunderstood the dialogue. Selecting a folder and
then clicking ok allowed me to view the applicable files in the icon
selection window.
I still feel it's a bit confusing though since it never says I'm
browsing for a folder, so I guess maybe it's an enhancement request to
