I'm also experiencing this problem (intrepid amd64). Restarting
Rhythmbox restores playback. I've attached the debug output from the
point of resuming, although I can't see anything of interest. Perhaps
this this is coming from GStreamer?

I was listening music, then paused Rhythmbox and suspend system. After
wake up I wanted to resume playing and Rhythmbox won't do anything.
