when i load a DVD, movie player opens, looks fine. Then turns grey and
goes into an infinite loop with no error message. When I go to close it,
I get the message program not responding.

I just downloaded 9.10 and now I can't get any video to come up when I
try to watch a movie. I have searched for the decoder and could not
find it. Asked a friend, who got me hooked on Ubuntu, to look at my
computer and he couldn't see anything wrong. Any help will be
appreciated!

Thank you very much for looking into this!
I was able to solve the problem by going into my computer's BIOS and
changing some IRQ's around. I believe the problem was caused by an interrupt
conflict between the network card and video card.
Video playback works great now [for me] in Int
could you add a video example to the bug? is that still an issue in
intrepid?
