Bug or not, I'm having the same problem, actually. Just installed
Maverick yesterday. All I did was accidentally right-click on Places >
Home Folder. Since then only VLC launches whenever I try to browse my
folders via nautilus. Even if it's not a bug, I would think there would
be folks here willin
you could have used a software which did this change, if that's the case
you should figure which one and open a bug against it but that's not due
to nautilus

Well in that case it's at the very least an interface problem. Why would
I do that? And where's the option to undo it?
