Hmmm...I wonder if this is related to the .THM file format--I've never
seen it before, but I've looked it up, and apparently it means
"Thumbnail" and is functionally equivalent to JPEG. Could you try:
-Copy the files to a folder on your hard drive and try to import them from
there in the same way
