Interesting. Is someone going to fix this problem? It seem that all
that would be needed is to add the full path to the filename and then
make a hash.

only the filename is used and not the full path, so two images with the
same name will have the same thumbnail.

I have the same problem also on 8.04 nautilus 2.22.5.1.
I have a folder: /home/barton/Pictures/Sept-2008 that show icons that do
not match the actual jpg. For example the file P1010004.JPG that is
shown is actually from /home/barton/Pictures/July2008 which has a file
of the same name but different
