that's not a bug, the msdos and vfat systems don't understand the case
difference, nautilus could display an useful error though but there is
already other bugs open about that issue

Ah, I just checked the filsystem, it's msdos, which might be causing the
problem. I'm on 32 bit and I've had it off over night, still able to
replicate it.
