Well I think I can save someone some work, gksudo nautilus is not
crashing now. Perhaps the updates I installed in the last 2 days fixed
the issue.

After I posted that I took a look into synaptic and installed
libglib2.0-0-dbg . Here is a second backtrace after I installed the

Looks like you're missing debug symbols for at least GLib (libglib-2.0),
but it looks like the trouble is coming out of the GVFS HAL module. If a
better stacktrace shows that, we should move the bug to GVFS.
If you could install those debug symbols and try again, it would be very
helpful. Thanks.
