LinuxJuggalo can you look if there is ~/.Trash for your account and if
not try to make a new one like I did. Perhaps it works after a reboot -
for me it did (but the directory is still not there - as I said: weired)

Very weird:
I did the following steps:
cd ~
mkdir .Trash
chmod 700 .Trash
and restarted gdm. And suddenly the trash worked fine, but the folder
has disapeared again. Recreating the folder results in an Trash always
marked full (in nautilus and the applet) but nothing visible (or
invisble - yes t
I have the same problem here. I'm wondering where nautilus stores the
deleted files. I have non of the following folders:
~/.Trash
/var/local/.Trash
/tmp/.Trash
The emty trash in the trash applet also works.

I delete a file via nautilus using the DEL key, after the file has been
sent to trash, I open trash and the problem showed in the screenshot as
described before happens, I have attached info about my laptop if this
helps

If "testing" is marked read-only, this is probably a dupe of a much
older bug about not getting rid of read-only files on empty trash. If
not, it's probably something different going on, though I haven't a clue
what it might be.
Can you check that the file isn't marked read-only? Thanks.

and right-clicking to empty trash just as explained, as you can see on
the first screenshot the empty trash button just isnt clickable
