Just to be safe: this bug is not _about_ inkscape not responding, it _can be reproduced_ by having inkscape not respond. The bug is about the wait-icon from Nautilus persisting beyond its usefulness. i start both inkscape and nautilus by clicking them on the tray, then drag&drop the file into inks
